My First Cake!
Before coming to the UK, I never baked. I didn’t weigh ingredients, I didn’t follow recipes, and I definitely didn’t know how to decorate a cake!
For my boyfriends birthday I decided to try something new and baked his birthday cake. Luckily, he loved it!
Now I have a cupboard full of measuring spoons, expensive micro scales, shelves of cookbooks, and an army of tiny piping nozzles… but this is still one of his favourite cakes.
