About me

I’m Ruth, and I own Dalston Dulce, a home bakery in Carlisle. I’m fully registered, insured, and have a 5-star food hygiene rating.

I specialise in birthday and wedding cakes, as well as cupcakes and traybakes.

I also design and create all of my toppers – fondant and card – as well as supplying them to other businesses.

My Cakes

All of my cakes are made from scratch with the best ingredients, freshly baked for each order. I offer a variety of sponge flavours, fillings and buttercream as well as the option to cover in fondant.

Do you deliver?

Yes! The cost depends on how far you are. I'll be happy to give you a quote when ordering.

Can you cater for allergies?

Yes! I make gluten free, dairy free and vegan cakes. If you have any allergies, just let me know.

What flavours do you offer?

I offer a wide variety of flavours and I'm always happy to try something new. If you want something specific, just let me know.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

I require a 50% deposit at the time of booking if your order is more than 1 week away, if it's less than 1 week I require the full amount up front.
